Lotus Brewers Yeast is an inactive yeast, a good source of protein and B complex vitamins and often included in a vegan or vegetarian diet. It has also been popular for use in lactation cookies and as a general health food added to your everyday diet to increase fibre and B vitamins. It is not a live yeast so can not be used for baking.
