Our Psyllium is 98% actual fibre, higher than many other brands of psyllium. This is one of the highest grades of fibre available, compared to less than 15% fibre for oat bran and an average of 10% fibre for wheat bran. Psyllium is the husk, or coating, of mucilage around the psyllium seed. It is considered pure dietary fibre. It is pale and almost translucent with a neutral taste. It can be added to your glass of juice in the morning, or sprinkled over your breakfast. It does quickly absorb liquid and will gel, so its perfect to thicken smoothies without added fat or ice.
